Plate Heat Exchanger

Working Principle: The plate heat exchanger consists of a series of corrugated metal plates engineered for optimal heat transfer between two liquids. With four corner holes facilitating fluid movement, these plates are secured in a robust frame featuring a fixed plate and a movable pressing plate, all held in place with clamp bolts. The integrated gaskets ensure airtight seals, directing fluid flow alternately through designated passages to maximize heat exchange efficiency.

Design and Efficiency: The design of the heat exchanger is influenced by fluid flow characteristics, physical properties, pressure differentials, and temperature variations, dictating the number and size of the plates utilized. The unique corrugation not only enhances turbulence but also provides necessary support points to withstand pressure variances between different media.

Advanced Structural Features: Our gasketed plate heat exchanger is distinctively compact compared to traditional heat exchangers. It effectively operates at a minimal temperature differential of 0.5-1 °C, manufactured to withstand pressures of up to 30 Bar, and accommodates flow rates up to 4500 m³/h. The improved design promotes effective flow management, minimizing scaling and boosting the heat transfer coefficient to an impressive 8000 W/m²·K.
