Extruded Fin Tube Product Description:
The aluminum extruded finned tube is crafted with a base tube, which can be made from carbon steel, stainless steel, or copper, and is covered with an aluminum tube through a mechanical extrusion process. This process forms a fin that is tightly bonded with the tube's outer wall, resulting in a finned tube with a high heat transfer coefficient and excellent thermal performance.
Also known as "integral finned tubes", these components consist of an aluminum outer tube and an inner tube of nearly any material. By rolling the material from the outer tube, an integrated fin is created, offering exceptional heat transfer capabilities, corrosion resistance, and longevity.
The production method employs an extrusion process where a bimetallic composite tube, lined with a mandrel, is processed through a cavity formed by rotating the roller blade. This results in fins extruded on the outer surface, ensuring a unified structure with no contact heat loss, high performance, and efficient heat transfer.
Compared to standard wound finned tubes, bimetallic aluminum extruded finned tubes maintain stable contact thermal resistance over a wide temperature range, enhancing heat transfer performance. Additionally, these tubes are highly corrosion-resistant and durable, capable of withstanding a 4.0MPa water pressure cleaning without compromising fin integrity. The base tube material can be selected based on the fluid's corrosiveness and processing technology, from materials like carbon steel, copper, and stainless steel.
