Longitudinal Finned Tube Overview
Longitudinal Finned Tubes are expertly crafted using resistance welding techniques to attach fins along the length of the tube. Initially, the fin strip is shaped into a U-channel, forming two fins from each side of the U. These channels are precision-cut to the correct length, positioned along the tube, and resistance welded in place. They are welded in pairs, directly opposite each other, so the number of fins is always a multiple of four.
